I missed 2021’s “Best, Etc.” post without realizing it. I almost skipped this one on purpose, thinking that (aside from a wildly disappointing election) it had been a relatively uneventful year.

YOLSF: One down, twenty-four to go
Back near the beginning of the year, I committed to “The Year of Living Short Fiction,” during which I would write 25 short stories in 2019. I just finished the first of those stories.
